I didn't get the chance to enjoy a red cup today (way too busy!), but this will give me a chance to talk about something else that I am very thankful for. Random acts of kindness. One of my best friends posted on Facebook today that she paid for the person behind her in line at the Starbucks drive-thru. Her post reminded me that 1) I really need to head to Starbucks and get my first red cup of the season and 2) more importantly, what a kind, thoughtful, and generous gesture. What a way to make someone's day!
I am thankful for my friend Denise who is one of the sweetest people I know! This is the girl who saves her last salted caramel for me and drops it off at my front door, who has a gift delivered to Nelia after she broke her wrist, who sends completely unexpected, thoughtful notes in the mail, who listens to me when I am feeling sad or frustrated, and who pays for the person behind her in line at Starbucks. What a great person and friend you are, Denise! I am so lucky to have you in my life! xoxoxoxox!
